Toyota has updated their hatchback, Etios Liva. The B-Class hatchback is now available with a two-tone paint solution offering a price tag of Rs 5.94 crore from Rs, ex-showroom, Mumbai. Dual tone paint will trim V and VX, which can be combined in three colors with black.
Etios Liva style has been adjusted to look fresher. Front bumper has been modified before the power grid. The air damping element on the finish of the carbon fiber looks “very sporty” and it is chrome obliquely facing the fog lamp. In addition, electric folding mirrors, dynamic roof spoiler and diamond cutting alloy. The three color options are blue, red and white with a black top.
The interiors are done in beige and black and the centre console now gets a piano black finish. Even the centrally mounted instrument cluster has been tweaked. In terms of safety, ISOFIX mounting points for child seats have been offered standard across the range along with ABS and EBD. It gets dual front airbags and three-point seatbelts for all five occupants.
Under the hood, you have the 1.2-litre four cylinder petrol engine developing 79bhp of power mated to a five-speed gearbox. The 67bhp 1.4-litre diesel engine also comes with a five-speed manual that drives the front wheels. Available in two trims, the Etios Liva dual-tone V petrol is priced at Rs 5.94 lakh while the VX is priced at Rs 6.44 lakh. The diesel V gets a price tag of Rs 7.24 lakh and the VX is offered at Rs 7.61 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The Etios Liva competes with the Hyundai Grand i10, the Maruti Suzuki Swift, the Tata Bolt and the Ford Figo in the Indian car market.
