February 14 official release of the Japanese car maker Honda found features for the upcoming city top-spec ZX variants. The new model will get new cosmetics as well as functional upgrades, while the machinery will continue to be selected by existing engines. Up until now, VX variants have been trimmed as the top-spec version, now sitting on the second line of ZX.
In terms of functionality, top-spec city ZX variants are additionally available with daytime running lights, LED headlamp assemblies at the rear. The top-spec model will also get an R16 diamond-cut alloy wheel and a touch-open and close electric sunroof. In addition, the new variant will be high-grade furniture as well as the new 7-inch touch screen audio, video and navigation systems. As for security, Japanese carmaker Honda offers six airbags, including two-sided, and curtain airbags.
Under the hood, the new model will continue to offer the choice of gasoline and diesel engines. Of the 1.5-liter petrol engine variant to mate with a five-speed manual and an optional CVT automatic transmission. Diesel variants on the other hand also received a 1.5-liter engine, mating six-speed manual gearbox. Like this generation, gasoline variants are expected to produce similar power figures with 115 horsepower and 145 nm torque, while the diesel version is expected to produce similar power output data at 98 hp and 200 nm torque.
The city for Honda sedan has been an important product in India and the newly revised version will be launched next week, GM can see the overall sales further rise. Filled with fresh upgrades and improved quality, the new model will work with Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Wella, Quick and Volkswagen Vento Skoda. More detailed new models will be available next week.
