The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 has been launched in India and has been priced at Rs 4.58 to Rs 6.39 lakh for the petrol variants and Rs 5.68 lakh to Rs 7.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel models. A mid-life update for Grand i10 it get cosmetic updates as well as a bigger diesel engine. It is available across 11 variants with both petrol and diesel engines.
On the outside, this 2017 Grand i10 gets sportier front and rear bumpers, LED DRLs, chrome door handles, rear wiper, roof rails, integrated spoiler and a new design for the diamond cut alloy wheels. The cabin retains the same design as the outgoing model but now has the added convenience of a touchscreen infotainment system, climate control system and rear AC vents.
The 2017 Grand i10 can be had with both petrol and diesel power with the latter being a new unit for more power and torque as compared to the older 1.1-litre engine. The petrol engine produces 81bhp/114Nm of torque and can be had with a five-speed manual/four-speed AT. The diesel on the other hand is a new 1.2-litre unit producing 73bhp/197Nm and can be had with a five-speed manual.

In the petrol models, we can see that Rs 32,654 has been reduced from the price of the base variant while Magna, Magna AT and Sportz models have got a price hike of Rs 4497, Rs 2687 and Rs 2329 respectively. The top-of-the-line petrol Asta AT (O) has been priced at Rs 6.84 lakh. In the diesel range, the base 1.2 Era variant has seen a drop of Rs 9370 while the Magna and Sportz variants see a hike of Rs 10,325 and Rs 20,692 respectively.
Compared to the main rival, Maruti Suzuki Swift, these prices represent a reduction of Rs 21,000 in the basic range and Rs 12000 top diesel models. The additional benefit is that the large one in this variant also provides more functionality. It also weakens the Tata Bolt and Ford Figo in a similar way pricing.
